Event format and Tech information

Gates open at 4:30 pm central time

Drivers Meeting for TSMA is at 6:00 pm. Track Meeting at 6:30 pm

You must attend BOTH meetings

We will discuss track general rules, weight rules, tires, format and have a time for any questions.

1. Starts are coming off turn for in between the 2 white lines the track provides. You get 1 chance to start the race side by side, if you fail to do so you move back 1 row. Just the person who causes the caution.

2. Restarts are single file on the front strenght. Fire anywhere after you go through the apex of the corner and no passing until you pass the cone on the front straight.

3. The track uses computerized scoring (transpoders avaible for rent for $10 at track).

4. Top 3 after each heat will weight. All transfer cars from the B mains must weight. TOP 5 from the A main must weight.

5. ALL Right Rear tires will be check on every car that is entered before each race (heat, B, dash (if applicable) and A Main)

6. Top 5 after the A main motors will be checked (Bore and stroke) regardless if you have been tech by TSMA or not. You will be teched again.

7. Cars that are running a 600cc or less motor must weigh at least 775lbs with driver after each event

8. Cars that are running 619cc must weigh at least 825lbs with driver after each event

9. If you fail to cross the scales (located in the middle of the infield)by leaving the race track, you will be DQed no questions asked.

10. Tires and fuel are avaible at the track

11. All lead must be bolted in with at least 2 bolts (grade 8 preferably) and must not be out side the cock pit of the car.

Format

Passing points system will be ran. This is not the sprint bandit format where you run a heat then a non quailfier and a quailifer and so on. Will pill draw which will line you up in a heat race. The top 16 cars from all the heat races will be locked into the A main event. The remaining cars will be put into 1 (maybe 2) B mains. The top 8 cars from the Bs will make up the remaining positions.

The A main, we will go 4 abreast for the fans. Cars on every other row(even numbers)will make up the inside and outside of the formation. Inside car go to the inside of the car infront of you, outside go to the outside of the car infront of you.
